Bill Brand – Episode one

Through the miracles of the Internet, the whole 1976 TV series, written by Trevor Griffiths, is available to watch. It follows the fortunes of an idealistic left wing MP elected at a by-election, to become a back-bencher thrust into the realities of Westminster where Labour is in power.

    Yes I remember it.

Due to the period this relates to I thought this might be an appropriate place to ask if we could have a tribute to Ken Cameron. Somehow I missed that he had died.

There’s a great piece in today’s Morning Star by John Haylett and some other lovely tributes.
